Eligibility for Financial Aid

We currently offer partial and full financial aid to qualifying students who meet any of the following criteria:

• Ordained Monastics
  • Fully ordained monks and nuns from any recognized Buddhist tradition are eligible for special financial support.
  • A letter or document confirming ordination status may be requested.
• Low-Income Applicants
  • Students whose annual income is less than USD $10,000 (or equivalent in local currency) are eligible to apply for financial aid.
  • Proof of income or supporting documents must be submitted during the application process.

Application Process

To apply for financial aid, students must complete the Financial Aid Application Form, which includes:

• Personal and contact information
• Statement of purpose or intention for study
• Details of current financial status and income level
• Supporting documents (e.g., ordination letter, income verification)

Application forms can be downloaded from our website or requested via email.

Review & Approval

All applications are carefully reviewed by our Financial Aid Committee. Decisions are made based on:

• Demonstrated financial need
• Commitment to learning and spiritual growth
• Availability of funds during the application period

Successful applicants will be notified via email and will receive either a partial or full tuition waiver based on individual circumstances.
